Nintendo have confirmed that there is a Pokemon RPG heading to Switch after all. A week after holding a Pokemon Direct and announcing Ultra Sun & Moon for 3DS, the console publisher has confirmed the existence of a Pokemon for its home console/handheld hybrid.

There were no details given about the project, except that it will probably take more than a year to develop, which would place its release date around Holiday 2018/Early 2019.
