The sequel to Creative Assembly’s Total War: Warhammer has been given a release date, as well as a bunch of new details, at the PC Gaming Show.

Total War: Warhammer 2 is the middle part of a planned trilogy, with the game expanding to focus on the Lizardmen and High Elves (with Dark Elves set to make an appearance). There will also be a fourth, currently unannounced race.

Post release content is also being planned that will tie together the two parts of the map from the first and second games in the series.
