Ubisoft closed out their E3 press conference with the reveal fourteen years in the making after finally revealing Beyond Good & Evil 2.

A cinematic trailer marked the occasion. The game will take place before its predecessor and before its protagonist Jade was born. The game will be a seamless online experience (playable solo or with friends) set in System 3 – an interstellar hub where private firms fight over the limited resources and scraps that are available.

As well as the above cinematic reveal there is also a scene by scene breakdown of the trailer from game director Michel Ancel (which is embedded below).

There was no announcement of release date or platforms with the reveal, though fans can sign up for a beta at the Beyond Good & Evil website (which has already crashed at the time of writing this).
