As leaked earlier this week, Ubisoft are making a co-operative VR game based on Star Trek. Called Star Trek: Bridge Crew, the game tasks four players to take on the role of the bridge crew of the starship Aegis, communicating and working together to complete missions and keep the ship working.

Ubisoft assembled a pretty impressive bridge crew of their own for their E3 demonstration – with LeVar Burton, Karl Urban and Jeri Ryan joining the games creative director David Votypka for a few games. Burton later joined conference host Aisha Tyler out on stage to talk about his experience with the game.

While unconfirmed during the presentation, it seems likely that Bridge Crew will be an online multiplayer experience (or a very cramped and expensive one).

Star Trek: Bridge Crew launches this Fall on Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and Playstation VR.
