Bethesda announced early this morning that Fallout 4 and Doom will both be coming to virtual reality, via the HTC Vive. The publisher announced that a VR version of Fallout 4 will be coming in 2017, with a VR version of Doom also announced without a release window.

Fallout 4 game director Todd Howard was also clear after the Showcase that this would not be a special version of the game for VR, but rather the whole game:

“Let’s not make a short version of Fallout 4–the promise is the whole game.”
